Sony Pictures is integrating AI into its film and TV production to improve efficiency, announced CEO Tony Vinciquerra. This move aims to streamline processes and cut costs amid Hollywood's ongoing union negotiations over AI's impact on jobs. Vinciquerra emphasized the company's commitment to AI, seeing it as a way to enhance production.
Despite industry concerns about AI displacing jobs, with significant implications for voice actors, concept artists, and visual effects workers, AI also holds innovative potential. DreamWorks' Jeffrey Katzenberg predicts AI could drastically reduce production costs, while cinematographer Kathryn Brillhart highlights AI’s benefits for visual effects and workflow efficiency.
As Sony Pictures navigates recent box office setbacks, its AI efforts aim to blend human creativity with technology for a new era of filmmaking.
One Guide : How to Get ChatGPT to Give You Advice on Your Online Store's Product Page
And since we’re having a webinar about improving online presence with AI, how about using ChatGPT as an adviser?
In this edition, I’ll explain how you can use ChatGPT to improve your online store's product page.
Whether you're managing a blog, an e-commerce site, or a professional portfolio, this hack can provide valuable feedback to improve your online presence.
I'll walk you through a step-by-step guide using a practical example: analyzing and improving a product page for an online store. This example will prove that anyone, not just business professionals, can benefit from using ChatGPT.
Let’s get started!
Step 1: Capture Your Product Page
Take a Screenshot:
Use a tool like Awesome Screenshot, a free Chrome plugin, to capture a full-page screenshot of the product page you want to analyze.
Install the plugin, open your product page, click on the plugin icon, and select "Full Page."
Save the screenshot as a high-quality JPEG.
Step 2: Upload to ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT:
Go to ChatGPT and log in with your OpenAI account.
Ensure you're using ChatGPT-4 with Vision capability.
Upload the Screenshot:
Click the attachment icon at the bottom of the chat interface.
Upload the JPEG screenshot of your product page.
Step 3: Prompt ChatGPT for Feedback
Ask for Analysis:
Use a clear and specific prompt to request feedback. For example:
Prompt:
Could you take a look at this product page I created for my online store? Can you make some recommendations on how I might improve it to get more conversions? Please provide a breakdown in a step-by-step bullet list and suggest any alterations in the copy.
Step 4: Review and Implement Recommendations
Analyze Feedback:
ChatGPT will analyze the screenshot and provide detailed feedback. This might include suggestions for improving product titles, descriptions, images, call-to-action buttons, and more.
Example feedback might be:
Outcome:
- Optimize the Product Title: Change "High-Quality Headphones" to "Premium Wireless Headphones with Noise Cancellation." This makes the benefit more specific.
- Improve Product Description: Update "Experience great sound quality" to "Enjoy crystal-clear sound with our premium wireless headphones, featuring advanced noise cancellation technology."
- Revise Call-to-Action: Modify "Buy Now" to "Get Yours Today" for a more compelling, action-oriented phrase.
Step 5: Test and Iterate
Implement Changes:
Make the recommended changes to your product page.
AB Testing:
Conduct AB tests to compare the performance of the original and revised versions of your product page.
Use analytics to measure improvements in conversion rates.
Practical Tips
Natural Language Interaction:
Talk to ChatGPT as you would an assistant. Clear, natural language makes it easier for the AI to understand and provide relevant advice.
Broad Applications:
This method isn't just for product pages. You can use it to get feedback on any webpage element, from color schemes to layout and copy.
Try it and let me know how it goes!
One Prompt: Comprehensive UX Design Feedback
And since we’re in the topic, here’re four detailed prompts to help you gather comprehensive feedback on various aspects of UX design.
These prompts are designed to be used with the guide shared above on how to get ChatGPT to give you advice on your online store's product page.
They'll help you improve the user experience, accessibility, and visual appeal of your product page. Let's dive in!
Prompt 1: General UX Design Feedback
Prompt: Could you evaluate the user experience design of this product page? Please suggest improvements in layout, navigation, visual elements, and overall usability to enhance the user experience and increase conversions.
Prompt 2: Mobile Usability Feedback
Prompt: Can you review this product page for mobile usability? Please provide recommendations on how to optimize the design for mobile devices, including layout adjustments, navigation improvements, and any changes to visual elements.
Prompt 3: Accessibility Improvements
Prompt: Could you analyze this product page for accessibility? Please suggest changes to ensure it is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Focus on aspects like color contrast, text readability, keyboard navigation, and alternative text for images.
Prompt 4: Visual Design Enhancements
Prompt: Can you provide feedback on the visual design of this product page? Please offer suggestions on how to improve the visual appeal through better use of colors, fonts, images, and overall aesthetic to make the page more engaging and visually pleasing.
