Tandem is an interesting concept. The app allows you to connect anytime on video with remote colleagues who are available to chat.
They call it “online co-working”. It’s supposed to replicate the ease of walking over to someone’s desk in an office. It’s not the same as a meeting and you don’t have to send an invite or book anything on the calendar.
Tandem integrates with many other apps and shows you what team members are working on, and their status.
It’s definitely worth checking out if your team is finding it hard to stay connected.
Re-discover the flow of working together in-person. Easily see who’s available to talk, who’s in a conversation, and who’s busy. Start conversations as easily as tapping someone on the shoulder. Unlock spontaneous collaboration in your team. Interactive screen-sharing and online co-working.
