Tool Time Weekly #167: OpenAI's next-gen models, Claude's new features, and AI-powered app development
It's my 3rd day as an AI Operator, and the demand is incredible!
Some call me an AI Coach, others an AI Consultant - whatever the title, it feels like I've found my calling.
In just these few days, I've spoken with 7 entrepreneurs, and I'm seeing a pattern.
Many are stuck between stage 1 (using ChatGPT with simple prompts) and stage 2 (using "mega-prompts" - not a fan of this term, but you know what I mean).
Here's the kicker - almost none have custom GPTs or proper prompt libraries.
They know AI can help, but they're unsure about the specifics.
That's why I'm here!
My mission?
To help you cut out repetitive work and focus on tasks that need human creativity.
But it's not just about saving time - AI can actually improve your work quality. It's an incredible brainstorming partner that helps you see things you might miss.
Q4 is coming up fast.
Have you started planning your AI strategy for 2025?
With GPT-5 or whatever they'll call it on the horizon, things are going to get even crazier.

OpenAI Japan's representative revealed that ChatGPT has surpassed 200 million active users, making it the fastest-growing software in history. The company's enterprise solution is gaining rapid adoption, with major clients including Apple, Coca-Cola, and Moderna. Not sure if you speak Japanese or can read it, but of course you can! You got AI on your side. Basically things are getting heated, leaks are happening, and whatever is coming next from OpenAI is gonna destroy the competition, humanity will be in shock, protests will happen again, jobs will get lost, but don't fear it!

Claude AI Introduces New "Explain" Feature for Code Understanding
Anthropic's Claude AI has quietly rolled out a new "Explain" feature, allowing users to get instant explanations of highlighted text or code within artifacts. This tool enables a new way to learn and understand complex topics, particularly useful for developers and those learning to code.
I hope you're ready to get deeper in this newsletter and really learn it all, cause I'm taking it up a notch.
Claude had a new feature that you can't even find much news about, I saw this on Reddit, went and tested it myself.
Claude's newest 'Explain' feature allows users to instantly get an explanation on any highlighted text (or code) within an artifact — enabling a new way to learn and understand complex topics.
If you aren't using Claude artifacts yet, you are losing out big time! I'll have a bit of more info on this in this newsletter.
Check out the tool section and the guide to learn more about Claude.
AI Agents Create Complex Society in Minecraft Simulation
A groundbreaking experiment involving 1,000 AI agents in a Minecraft world has resulted in the emergence of a complex society with its own economy, culture, religion, and government. This simulation demonstrates the potential for AI to create and maintain intricate social structures.
Everybody is talking about this today, so it would be rude to not bring it in my newsletter, at first I found it gimmicky cause it's on Minecraft but the concept is incredible 1000 autonomous agents working in a virtual world, w/ emergent economy, culture, religion, and government.
Scary, right?
Think of the bigger impact of this, can AI take over? I think it can, and I don't think we should blame the AI if it does, I think we will be the ones who will destroy ourselves as usual.
One Guide : Mastering Claude's Artifacts for Rapid App Development
In today's fast-paced digital world, quickly creating functional apps is increasingly valuable. This guide will help you master Claude's Artifacts feature to build apps in minutes, providing clear, actionable steps to enhance your creative and problem-solving skills.
Step-by-Step Guide

5. Refining Your App
Review the initial design on the right side of your screen.
Request improvements by saying, "Make the UI/UX better and more user-friendly."
Add features incrementally. For the Dart Scoring app, you might ask for:
Score per round feature
User management (add, edit, delete players)
Different dart game scoring methods
Tabs for rules and tips
6. Testing and Iterating
Examine each iteration of your app carefully.
Continue to refine and add features until you're satisfied with the result.
Remember, this process typically takes just minutes!

One Media: The Future of Work and Automation
I recently came across a thought-provoking video that's causing quite a stir in the tech community. It's a must-watch for anyone interested in the future of work and automation. This piece stands out because it offers a comprehensive look at how AI and robotics are reshaping various industries, particularly manufacturing.
What struck me most about this video is its balanced approach to a complex issue. While it highlights the efficiency and precision of automated systems, it also addresses the very real concerns about job displacement.
I found myself reflecting on the broader implications for society. The shift towards more intellectually demanding jobs, especially those requiring AI skills, is a trend we can't ignore.
It's a wake-up call for all of us to stay adaptable and continuously upskill.
The examples from companies like Amazon and Mercedes-Benz really drive home how this isn't just futuristic speculation – it's happening now.
One Tool: Claude - Your AI Assistant on the Go
I've been talking about Claude a lot lately, and with good reason. This AI assistant has been improving quickly, and its latest mobile app update is impressive. Let me explain why Claude is worth your attention this week.
I recently mentioned Claude's documentation and new features. Now, they've made another significant improvement. They've added Claude Artifacts to the mobile app, which is a major step forward. You can now build apps, write complex documents, or analyze data sets from anywhere. It's like having a capable assistant with you at all times, ready to help with any task you need.
Mobile Artifacts:

Customizable workspace organization
The mobile app's Artifacts feature shows how AI is changing the way we work. It's not just convenient; it allows us to be creative and productive during times we used to consider unproductive.
At first, I found it funny to think about building apps in unexpected places. But this accessibility is really changing how we work and solve problems. It's especially useful for small business owners who handle many tasks, entrepreneurs who get ideas at odd times, and marketing professionals who need to quickly change their plans.
TL;DR:
OpenAI now has 200 million users and mentions "GPT Next", a new model they say will be much more advanced.
