More Noes Lead to Growth
Learning to say 'NO' might change your life....
Today I realized; what I should have realized earlier on in my career. The ability to say no, “No, I don’t accept every project thrown at me” or No to free work and all the Noes combined would have benefited me early on. There’s a certain anxiety that creeps in while saying no….Stand your ground, value your time!By saying no, I have clarity which helps me make better decisions daily! I have been prioritizing my family, my friends, and my passions which add to my mental wellbeing & happiness. Prioritize your schedule and time, this is the start of independence.Do you say yes to a lot? Are you feeling overwhelmed consistently? I did. Change it.The above text is from yesterday’s LinkedIn post I published.
